Alice and Jack have been best friends forever. Now Alice is emigrating. They make their way to her going-away party but as her flight draws nearer and the night gets darker, Jack feels more and more agitated. Does he love her or is he just feeling the only stability in his life slip away?

Chimneys made its premier at the Leeds International Film Festival where it was nominated for the Louis LePrince award in November 2013.
It received its national television premier on RTÉ 2 as part of the Shortscreen Programme, April 2016.
